Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Production Team Leader in Staffordshire to oversee the manufacture, assembly and testing of electrical control panel solutions. You will coordinate multiple projects and ensure the team prioritises and resources align with milestones and customer deadlines.

You will plan daily activities, supervise panel builds, mentor staff and promote a strong health & safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a production team.
• Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Electrical industry experience.
• Ideally experience with control panel build or electrical assembly.
• Some understanding of electrical drawings and design.
• Hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a production team responsible for manufacture, assembly and testing of electrical control panel solutions.
• Coordinate multiple projects to meet production milestones and customer deadlines.
• Plan and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.
• Supervise multiple control panel builds and ensure production deadlines are achieved.
• Work closely with the Production Scheduler to coordinate project milestones.
• Monitor build quality and maintain a right-first-time culture.
• Maintain production records and documentation.
• Train, mentor and develop production staff and apprentices.
• Promote and maintain high health and safety standards.
• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning and other departments to keep projects on track.
• Support a positive, high-performing production environment.
