Job summary

Russell Taylor Group in Staffordshire is seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee a production team responsible for the manufacture, assembly and testing of electrical control panel solutions. You will coordinate multiple builds, prioritise workloads and ensure milestones and customer deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading or supervising a production team.
• Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Electrical industry experience.
• Ideally, experience with control panel build or electrical assembly.
• Some understanding of electrical drawings and design.
• Hands-on problem-solving with multi-project priorities.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.
• Supervise multiple control panel builds and ensure production deadlines are achieved.
• Work with the Production Scheduler to coordinate milestones.
• Monitor build quality and maintain a right-first-time culture.
• Maintain production records and documentation.
• Train, mentor and develop production staff and apprentices.
• Promote high health and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning and other departments to keep projects on track.
• Support a positive, high-performing production environment.
