Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Production Engineer (Electrical Bias) for their Cannock site. The role focuses on supporting the manufacture and introduction of electrical products within a growing manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Understanding of electrical drawings, schematics or control systems.
• Experience with control panels, switchgear or automation is beneficial.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and product-flow from design to production.
• Willingness to learn and work with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacture and introduction of electrical products.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Review engineering information for manufacturability.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and engineering changes.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and production.
• Work with Design, Production, Purchasing and Quality teams to deliver projects.
• Provide technical support to colleagues across the business.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the manufacture and introduction of electrical products
• Working closely with production teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
• Reviewing engineering information to ensure products can be manufactured effectively
• Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and engineering changes
• Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation, drawings and Bills of Materials
• Identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and production processes
• Working with Design, Production, Purchasing and Quality teams to deliver projects successfully
• Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues across the business

• Ability to work with different teams including production, design and quality
• A proactive approach with good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
