Qualifications

• Experience building and wiring bespoke electrical control panels.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience installing PLCs, drives, relays and contactors.
• Skilled in cable preparation, routing and termination.
• Knowledge of testing and fault finding in control panels.

Responsibilities

• Building and wiring bespoke electrical control panels.
• Working from electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Installing PLCs, drives, relays, contactors and other control components.
• Cable preparation, routing and termination.
• Crimping and ferruling.
• Panel assembly and mechanical preparation.
• Carrying out continuity checks and basic electrical testing.
• Fault finding and correcting wiring issues.
• Working closely with the Controls and Design Engineers.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Ensuring panels are completed to project deadlines.
