Schools PPM
The business has been operating since the early 2000's and offer the full range of engineering services. Its Mechanical division undertakes commercial and domestic compliance, installation, reactive repair & planned maintenance services in London and the Southeast of England to Public and Private clients.

As a growing company we are always looking to add new engineers to our teams and currently have an open vacancy for a PPM Engineer with an electrical or Air conditioning qualification.

The right candidate will be working within school premises for current contracts within the London M25 area. The candidate will be expected to undertake PPM (SFG 20), Statutory Compliance Testing, minor repairs/remedial works, maintenance and small installations to AC, electrical and plumbing systems, (electrical testing qualified would be an advantage). The successful candidate will ideally be located to allow easy access to London.

Key Skills & Experience
• Experience of PPM regime-based contracts (SFG 20 an advantage)
• Experience carrying out fault finding and repairs on electrical systems or AC systems
• Minor plumbing experience advantageous
• Mobile, travelling daily to different locations carrying out PPM and corrective maintenance and reactive repairs.
If electrically biased
• BS7671 regulations qualified (18th Edition)
• Electrical Verification & Testing, experience producing Minor New Works Certificates
• Inspect & Test Emergency Lighting systems to BS5266 including repairs
• 5 Years + experience (advantageous)


Qualifications - some desired
• Air conditions qualification with associated safety tickets / isolations etc.
• City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent)
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2395 Inspection & Test - Not Necessary but welcomed, although this role does not require carrying out inspections
• City & Guilds 18th Edition


Security clearance
• You will be asked to complete a DBS to undertake work on schools

Skills required are electrical by qualification but with PPM experience and that to include broader PPM knowledge/experience to include either electrical or Ventilation/AC etc.
