Metlen Energy & Metals in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced O&M Technician to support the safe, reliable operation of our solar PV and Battery Energy Storage assets. You will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on LV and HV networks and provide hands-on technical support.

The role requires 3+ years as a field technician in renewable energy, electrical engineering background, HV AP2/AP3 or equivalent, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Competenze

• Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Qualified Electrician with HV awareness and AP2/AP3 or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a field technician in solar PV, BESS, or renewables.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.

Mansioni

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across LV and HV networks.
• Provide hands-on technical support for maintenance on operational sites.
• Ensure work complies with ESRs and industry standards.
• Fault finding, testing, diagnosis, and repairs on DC and LV systems.
• Supervise contractor activities and maintain maintenance documentation.
• Prepare RAMS for LV maintenance and improve procedures.
