Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across client sites in Cumbria. You will fault‑find, diagnose and repair electrical distribution boards, motors, pumps and building services to keep systems safe and compliant.

This role includes working to BS 7671, taking part in on‑call rosters, and supporting HVAC and fabric tasks as needed. A UK driving licence and security clearance eligibility are required; NVQ3 or City & Guilds and 18th

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation.
• 18th edition.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience with fault finding and maintenance in FM/building services environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on electrical systems and building services.
• Fault‑finding, diagnosis and repair of distribution boards, motors and pumps.
• Support mechanical tasks (HVAC, valves, air handling units) as required.
• Be part of the on‑call rota and maintain compliant records.
