Job summary

Mitie in Yeovil is seeking a Multi-skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias to deliver reactive and proactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical disciplines on site. The role involves carrying out modifications, installations, and calibration of plant to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline) or equivalent with up-to-date training.
• 17th or 18th Edition and NVQ Level 3 qualification for engineering maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service covering electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Carry out modifications and installations, and calibrate plant to optimise reliability.
• Ensure KPIs are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers as required.
• Complete paperwork and produce reports accurately and timely.
