Job summary

Vitacress Salads is seeking an Electrical Multi-Skilled Engineer for our St Mary Bourne site. The role is 4on4off with 2 days and 2 nights, based in Andover, Hampshire. Salary up to £55,000 plus a £3,000 annual training fund; eligible for bonus, pension and private medical insurance.

You'll maintain and improve production equipment, diagnose faults, read drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep the site running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• Have a recognised electrical mechanical qualification or equivalent experience in a similar environment.
• Can perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults effectively.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Work with pneumatic systems and perform basic fabrication/welding.
• Analyze problems and implement practical, timely solutions.
• Plan and prioritise tasks while under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery as part of the engineering team on a fast-paced production site.
• Keep production running safely and efficiently with hands-on maintenance.
• Collaborate with Production, Technical, and Hygiene teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and site performance.

• Take a hands‑on approach to maintenance within a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment
