Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician to provide on-site maintenance across buildings, plant and systems. You will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to keep site operations safe, reliable and efficient.

You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and support upgrades while following SHEQ policies. Working hours are 0730–1600 with a 30-minute lunch break; you will work with contractors and site teams to uphold high standards of

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in facilities management, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Good understanding of electrical and mechanical building services.
• Desirable: experience using maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of site services, equipment and infrastructure.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs promptly to minimise downtime.
• Assist with minor refurbishment projects, plant installations and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and required documentation.
• Comply with SHEQ policies and procedures.
• Identify risks and report defects and improvements.
• Support contractors and service providers as needed.
• Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and site stakeholders.
• Attend team briefings and customer meetings as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
