Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant, equipment and building services. You will identify risks, update drawings, and support a robust preventive maintenance program in a busy production environment.

Role requires proven manufacturing maintenance experience, City & Guilds 17th Edition, NVQ Level 2 in Electrical/Mechanical, and ability to fault find on 3-phase systems and heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time-served apprenticeship completed.
• Strong experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical qualifications to City & Guilds 17th Edition.
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds standard.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
• Ability to fault find.
• PLC diagnostics/repair experience.
• NVQ Level 2 Electrical and Mechanical.
• Ability to supervise contractors.
• Ability to write risk assessments and permits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client via on-site equipment; update drawings and spares.
• Maintain production machinery and plant, with client liaison for PMs.
• Fault finding across various machinery, electrical and mechanical.
• Support Health & Safety across the department and sites.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise for heavy machines and cranes.
• Complete documentation per rules and legislation; prepare risk statements.
• Work on three-phase systems up to 440V; operate motors and gearboxes.
