Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in London is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to maintain electrical and mechanical plant, equipment and building services. The role involves identifying risks, updating drawings and implementing the preventative maintenance program.

You will fault-find on heavy machinery, cranes and 3‑phase systems up to 440V, support health and safety, and plan daily work using CAFM and calendars. Overtime, nights and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship.
• Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition (City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2).
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds level.
• Experience on 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.
• Ability to fault find and supervise contractors.
• Desirable: Working at Height, IPAF, AP qualifications, heavy engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to plant, equipment and building services.
• Identify risks and update drawings, spares, and preventative maintenance.
• Use new equipment and technologies to maintain production environment and perform PPMs.
• Fault finding on all types of machinery.
• Support Health and Safety in the department.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to maintenance on heavy industrial machines and cranes.
• Write and follow risk assessments and permits.
• Work on Three Phase Systems up to 440V.
• Plan daily work using CAFM system and email/calendar.
• Liaise with onsite Site Services to manage building services issues.
• Overtime and night/weekend work as required.
• Adhoc duties as and when required.
