Job summary

One to One personnel Limited is seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their modern facility in Witham, Essex. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance of production equipment, with a £35,000 per annum salary and a Monday-to-Friday 7am-16:30 schedule, permanent.

You will perform PPM tasks, diagnose faults, assist with dismantling and reassembly, and participate in weekend callouts when needed.

Qualifications

• Experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer (Electrical & Mechanical).
• Experience in manufacturing/production environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Mechanical maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to support operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to production teams.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation faults.
• Fault find on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Assist with dismantling and reassembly of production equipment.
• Carry out improvement works and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Ensure machinery operates at maximum efficiency.
• Call outs – Rotated within the team.
• Some weekend working is required when there is machine downtime.
