Job summary

Newman Office Personnel is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) for a Monday-Friday, late shift with overtime available in Witham. You’ll maintain modern production machinery, conduct preventative maintenance, fault find and support continuous improvement within a tight engineering team.

The role requires multi-skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, a manufacturing background, electrical fault-finding ability, and PLC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Fault-finding experience and PLC knowledge are beneficial.
• Level 3/NVQ/HNC or equivalent and 18th Edition compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability projects.
• Work as part of a close-knit engineering team.
