Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical engineering.
• Minimum City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ, BTEC, or ONC.
• At least 5 years’ experience within a multi-skilled industrial maintenance environment.
• BS7671 IEE 18th Edition qualification.

Responsibilities

• Proactively deliver PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) across a range of manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment faults and breakdowns.
• React promptly to repairs and health & safety-related issues.
• Carry out general building and facility repairs as required.
• Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Undertake additional reasonable duties to support the efficient running of the site.

Reed Engineering are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing organisation in their search for a Double Day Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established maintenance team and play a key role in keeping production equipment and site facilities operating efficiently.

The Role

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will work proactively across a wide variety of manufacturing equipment, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and safe operation throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
