Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a maintenance technician to cover a broad range of mechanical and HVCA tasks across buildings and plants in the Manchester area.

You will perform testing, inspections and remedial works, ensuring systems run efficiently and safely. The role requires strong IT literacy, a solid electrical background, and the ability to communicate clearly with teams and clients.

Qualifications

• C&G, BTEC level 3 or NVQ level 3 in Electrical discipline.
• Experience in building services engineering and HVCA.
• Articulate, numerate and IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Provide general mechanical/HVCA/Building services maintenance support on buildings and plant.
• Perform testing and inspection of mechanical systems in line with industry standards.
• Carry out remedial and refurbishment works arising from breakdowns or maintenance findings.
• Respond to reactive maintenance/breakdown calls and provide feedback to customers and helpdesk as required.
• Develop knowledge of site system failures and their causes for troubleshooting.
