Job summary

AG Barr Plc in Cumbernauld is hiring an Engineering Technician (Multi-skilled Electrical Bias) to keep high-speed production lines running. On-site role focuses on installation, maintenance and operation to maximise output while controlling costs.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned and corrective maintenance, input data into CMMS, and work with contractors. A can-do attitude, safety awareness and proactivity are essential; familiarity with lean improvements is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have City & Guilds level or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive workload prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to maximise production and asset efficiency.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and repair to minimise downtime.
• Input data into the Maintenance CMMS system.
• Support project teams and liaise with contractors as required.
• Comply with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
