Job summary

A.G. Barr is seeking an Engineering Technician (Multi skilled Electrical Bias) to join the team in Cumbernauld. You will ensure machinery and equipment are installed, maintained and operated to maximise output and efficiency on high-speed lines.

On-site role with a focus on fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and data entry into the CMMS. The ideal candidate has City & Guilds level or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical engineering and experience in FMCG settings.

Qualifications

• Proven problem solving to diagnose and fix equipment issues.
• Experience maintaining machinery on high-speed lines.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in manufacturing.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to maximise production efficiency and ensure planned maintenance is completed.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and quick repairs to minimise downtime.
• Enter maintenance data into the CMMS system.
• Analyse line efficiency, waste and downtime for improvement opportunities.
• Manage contractors per procedures and safety rules.
