Job summary

AG Barr in Cumbernauld is seeking an Engineering Technician (Multi-skilled Electrical Bias) to join the Engineering Team on a permanent continental shift. You will ensure machinery and equipment are installed, maintained and operated to maximise output and efficiencies on high-speed lines.

Key duties include fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, data input into CMMS, and supporting process improvements while adhering to safety standards and contractor management procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining equipment and machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a can-do attitude and team orientation.
• Solid understanding of Health and Safety standards and proactive workload management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to maximise production efficiency and maintain assets.
• Diagnose faults and repair breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
• Input data into Maintenance CMMS and manage budget spend.
• Analyse line efficiency, wastage and downtime for performance improvements.
• Coordinate contractors and ensure safe working practices.
