Job summary

Forge Talent Group is seeking Mechanical or Electrical Assemblers for a permanent position with our client in Newton Aycliffe. You will build machinery in the workshop from engineering drawings, using hand tools and wiring panels as needed.

Responsibilities include commissioning, and potentially rebuilding and installing at client sites. The salary is negotiable for the right candidates, reflecting experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling machinery from engineering drawings using hand tools.
• Experience wiring panels or working from schematics for electrical assemblies.
• Ability to interpret diagrams and work to client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Commission machinery after assembly.

Job description

We are looking to recruit both Mechanical or Electrical Assemblers to join our client's team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidates will have experience of either Mechanical Assembly (working from engineering drawings, using hand tools, building machinery and conveyor systems), or Electrical Assembly (panel wiring, working from schematics etc).

Duties will include building machinery to client's specification within the workshop, commissioning, and then potentially rebuilding and installing at client's site.
