Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electro Mechanical Assembler for a 4–6 week contract in Central London. The role involves assembling mechanical components, wiring harnesses and working with low‑voltage DC systems to support upcoming deliveries.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in mechanical or electrical assembly, reading engineering drawings and using workshop tools in a small team environment. There may be overtime and potential for a permanent role.

Electro Mechanical Assembler

Central London (commutable from Wembley, Ealing, Acton, Hammersmith, Paddington and surrounding areas)

£25 - £30 per hour DOE (Umbrella/Inside IR35)

4 - 6 week contract with potential for a permanent role

Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm, with potential overtime

Are you an Electro Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter or Panel Wirer looking for a hands‑on contract working on innovative machinery?

This specialist engineering business develops and builds advanced automated equipment. Working within a small engineering team, you will support the assembly of its latest equipment to meet an upcoming delivery deadline.

The role would suit someone with experience assembling machinery or complex products, such as automation equipment, industrial machinery or electric vehicles. Candidates with a strong mechanical or electrical background will be considered, with experience across both preferred.

You will work closely with the engineering team in a workshop environment, assembling mechanical components and carrying out electrical wiring to drawings and build instructions.

The role:

• Assemble mechanical components and equipment using engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Carry out wiring and harness assembly, including crimping, routing and soldering, depending on your experience.
• Work with low‑voltage DC systems, motors, motor controllers and sensors.
• Use hand tools, power tools and manual workshop machinery.
• Support the engineering team in completing builds to deadline.

The person:

• Experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, panel wiring or a similar hands‑on engineering role.
• Able to read and work from relevant engineering drawings and build instructions.
• Confident using workshop tools and equipment.
• Comfortable working in a small team where priorities can change.
• Experience across both mechanical assembly and electrical wiring is advantageous.
