SLB seeks an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer Intern for a 12-month placement at Stonehouse Technology Centre. The role focuses on proactive troubleshooting of electrical assembly and testing, while driving continuous improvements in manufacturing processes using Industry 4.0 and Lean principles.

You will collaborate with New Product Development teams from early concept through commercialization, review electrical designs, and help create robust manufacturing roadmaps and FMECAs to ensure

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software or Firmware, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Experience with LabVIEW NI, MATLAB, Python, and manual test equipment (oscilloscopes) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure smooth, efficient, and reliable product delivery; lead proactive troubleshooting of electrical assembly and testing.
• Apply Industry 4.0 and Lean methodologies to continuously improve end-to-end manufacturing processes.
• Train shop floor personnel, monitor critical performance metrics, and provide day-to-day production support.
• Address electrical safety concerns, quality issues, and production yield challenges.
• Collaborate with New Product Development teams from concept through successful commercialization; review designs and develop manufacturing roadmaps.
• Create and lead development of automated test systems and replacement tests for current test setups.
