Job summary

Schlumberger Limited in Stonehouse, United Kingdom, is seeking a 12-month Electrical Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support test systems and manufacturing processes for downhole tools. You will join the Digital Technology & Research, Engineering & Design, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to drive automation and manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

Studying a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Software or Firmware engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline
Ideally the candidate will have experience in LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, and manual test equipment (oscilloscopes)
Industry 4.0 and Lean manufacturing exposure is advantageous

Responsibilities

Lead proactive troubleshooting of issues during electrical assembly and testing
Continuously improve end-to-end manufacturing processes using Industry 4.0 and Lean methodologies
Train shop floor personnel and monitor critical performance metrics
Support new product introduction with Design for Manufacturing feedback and FMECAs
