Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Location: Chichester – Goodwood Area

Salary: - £75,000 per annum

Company Overview:

We are a respected and fast-growing M&E contractor delivering high-quality electrical and mechanical packages across the South of England. Specialising in commercial, residential, and heritage projects, we pride ourselves on our technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong client relationships. With a flagship project underway near Goodwood, we are now seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical package on a high-profile development.

Role Overview:

As the Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the electrical installation on site—from pre-construction planning through to commissioning and handover. You’ll manage subcontractors, liaise with clients, lead progress meetings, and ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for managing the electrical scope of the project
• Liaising with the main contractor, consultants, and client representatives
• Coordinating with design teams and overseeing the approval of drawings and technical submissions
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring work is carried out to specification and programme
• Monitoring progress, cost control, and reporting to senior management
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and industry standards
• Leading weekly progress meetings and site inspections
• Coordinating commissioning and final handover documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an Electrical Project Manager role (minimum 5 years)
• Strong background in managing commercial or high-end residential electrical installations
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation (or higher)
• SMSTS or equivalent safety qualification
• Strong knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong IT skills (Excel, MS Project, or similar)
