Job summary

BJF Group is a leading multidiscipline Main Contractor across the UK, delivering high quality construction projects. The Southwest Core facilities team seeks an Electrician to provide comprehensive repairs and maintenance to commercial instillations on client sites.

Responsibilities include reactive response, planned maintenance, and first-fix where possible, with strong emphasis on health & safety and customer service. On-call rota may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in planned preventative maintenance and reactive works
• Repairs following PIR including minor works certification
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and 18th Edition qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive calls, perform first fix where possible and scope quotes for repairs
• Carry out all planned maintenance tasks and keep auditable records
• Ensure site stays in good order and within specification, with timely completion
• Work within Health & Safety criteria and processes
• Demonstrate proactive health & safety measures to mitigate risks
• Maintain high standards of customer care and workmanship
• Be flexible to undertake other duties as required and work on call rota
