Job summary

JDR Cable Systems Ltd. in Cambois is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team on a continental shift pattern. You will maintain and repair equipment across rotating systems, stranders and extrusion lines, ensuring production targets are met with TPM/PPM practices.

The role requires time-served electrical experience and qualifications such as ONC/City & Guilds Level 3. A practical, problem-solving approach and reading engineering drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Time served in electrical discipline and/or ONC/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing and TPM/PPM.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to lean principles (5S).

Responsibilities

• Safety first and adherence to site policies.
• Maintain and repair equipment to meet production priorities.
• Utilise CMMS to plan, document and execute maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance, and minimize downtime.
• Supervise external contractors and ensure safe working practices.
• Prepare and update maintenance documentation and routines.
