Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking a Maintenance Electrician in the North East to support production lines with reactive and planned maintenance. The role includes installing new machinery and refurbishing existing equipment, plus programming and reporting on breakdown analysis.

The ideal candidate is time served, multi-skilled with an electrical bias, and may have PLC experience. Continental 4 on 4 off shifts, FMCG experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be time served and multi-skilled with electrical bias.
• PLC experience is preferred.
• Willing to work continental shift 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights).
• FMCG experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on production machinery.
• Install new machinery and refurbish existing equipment.
• Undertake programming tasks and prepare reports to identify breakdown causes and practical countermeasures.

The Company

Our client is a major force with in the North East manufacturing sector. Continued growth and development of their site is the reason they are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician.

The Role

• The role will be to work on both reactive and planned maintenance on a range of machinery associated with production.
• Along with day-to-day maintenance issues you also be heavily involved in the installation of new machinery and refurbishment of old machines.
• The Maintenance Technician will undertake programming activities and prepare technical reports to analyse breakdown causes, recommend practical countermeasures, and drive forward achievable solutions.

The Person

• Must be time served and multi-skilled ideal an electrical bias.
• PLC experience is preferred.
• Must be happy to work continental shift 4 on 4 off 2 days followed by 2 nights.
• FMCG experience is preferred.
