Job summary

CPC Recruitment are supporting a healthcare organisation in South London to appoint an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join their Facilities Team. The role focuses on electrical maintenance within a multi-skilled team, carrying out PPM, reactive repairs and fault finding, with an on-call rota and opportunities for development.

The successful candidate will hold an electrical apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 3, 18th Edition, and have experience in similar environments, with

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance in commercial, healthcare, education, residential or similar environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience supervising contractors and specialist suppliers.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned electrical maintenance across building services.
• Perform reactive electrical repairs and fault finding safely and efficiently.
• Support statutory checks including emergency lighting and PAT testing.
• Assist with minor installations and building services improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update helpdesk systems.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and specialist suppliers.
• Assist with building management systems and facilities operations.
• Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergencies.
