Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting an Estates Technician (Electrical) to maintain safety, reliability, and uninterrupted operation of complex engineering services across clinical and non-clinical facilities in the Suffolk/East of England region. You will perform maintenance, fault diagnosis, and installation work on LV electrical systems, power, lighting, generators, UPS, and building infrastructure.

You will join a skilled estates team, hold an electrical apprenticeship with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3,

Qualifications

Recognised electrical apprenticeship with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3, plus AM1 & AM2.
Proven experience in electrical fault finding and building maintenance.
Ability to read complex technical drawings and manage test data.

Responsibilities

Maintenance & fault diagnosis across LV electrical systems, power and lighting.
Install, repair and service M&E equipment and related plant across facilities.
Testing, monitoring and servicing critical estates equipment including sterilisation and lifting gear.
Issue Risk Assessments and Permits to Work; supervise contractors.
Deputise for Estates Team Leaders and participate in on-call rota.
