Job summary

Taskmaster Resources Limited is seeking an Electrical / Maintenance Technician for a busy manufacturing site in Preston. The role focuses on routine electrical maintenance, fault finding, and supporting machinery installations to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have electrical maintenance experience, an NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent, and familiarity with CNC or production machinery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical maintenance, manufacturing or working with machinery.
• NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent would be an advantage.
• Some experience with CNC or production machinery would be an advantage.
• Able to carry out basic electrical fault finding and understand electrical schematics.
• 18th Edition would be an advantage but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine electrical and preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Helping to identify and fix electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Working with a range of machinery, including CNC and woodworking equipment.
• Helping maintain panel saws, bandsaws, conveyors and other production machinery.
• Using electrical drawings and schematics to help diagnose faults.

• Working safely and following the required electrical and health & safety procedures.

Electrical / Maintenance Technician

£15.04 per hour | MondayFriday | Temp to Perm

Were looking for an Electrical / Maintenance Technician to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a great opportunity for someone with electrical or maintenance experience who enjoys working with machinery and wants to develop their skills further.

Youll be part of the maintenance team, helping to keep production running smoothly by carrying out routine maintenance, electrical checks and repairs when machinery needs attention.

What youll be doing

• Carrying out routine electrical and preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Helping to identify and fix electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Working with a range of machinery, including CNC and woodworking equipment.
• Helping maintain panel saws, bandsaws, conveyors and other production machinery.
• Using electrical drawings and schematics to help diagnose faults.
• Supporting machinery installations, upgrades and improvements.

What were looking for

Contract

Temporary to Permanent with the opportunity to move onto a permanent contract following a successful training period.

Pay: £15.04 per hour
