Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician for a hands-on role in Avonmouth, Bristol. The position involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and commissioning across LV/HV electrical systems on industrial plant.

The ideal candidate has LV/HV experience, 18th Edition/2391 desirable, strong fault-finding skills, and a Level 3 electrical qualification. Permanent, day-shift opportunity with overtime and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent required/desirable 18th Edition and 2391.
• Strong fault-finding skills with LV/HV experience.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs across plant.
• Maintenance of motors, panels, switchgear and distribution systems.
• LV/HV electrical work and commissioning support.
• Reading electrical drawings and applying safe isolation procedures.
• Support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician looking for a hands-on role within a growing industrial environment?

Our client is looking for an experienced technician to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical fault finding and commissioning across industrial plant and equipment. This is a hands-on role involving LV and HV electrical systems, fault finding, planned maintenance and supporting the development of reliable maintenance standards from the outset.

The Role

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Electrical fault finding and repairs
• Maintenance of motors, panels, switchgear and distribution systems
• LV/HV electrical work
• Supporting installation and commissioning
• Reading electrical drawings and schematics
• Electrical isolation and safe working procedures
• Supporting reliability and continuous improvement

The Candidate

• Industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent
• 18th Edition and 2391 desirable/required
• Strong fault-finding skills
• LV/HV experience
• Experience with motors, control panels and electrical systems
• PLC/VSD experience advantageous
• Strong commitment to health and safety
