Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking an Electrician for permanent, full-time work across Louth, Market Rasen, Caistor and surrounding areas. You will carry out repairs, investigations and scheduled maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets.

You will work with electrical control panels, motors and instrumentation, with a focus on safe, compliant operation and environmental protection. A full UK driving licence is essential and a recognised electrical qualification is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds electrical qualification (18th Edition, AM2) or completed Electrical apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Experience with inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis on large pumps, actuated valves, VSD and 3‑phase switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and scheduled & reactive maintenance to ensure asset reliability.
• Investigate and rectify faults on electrical equipment and systems.
• Work with electrical control panels, motor testing and instrumentation in industrial environments.

£45,760 starting salary, plus overtime and standby, with opportunity for pay progression up to £60,000 Basic

Business use of company van, tools and PPE equipment

Permanent, Full Time 37 hours p/w, with flexibility for part time

You’ll be responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults and completing scheduled & reactive maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets. This role is not just about doing a job, it has a real purpose; it’s about protecting our environment and our customers.

With support from a collaborative team, you will develop your commercial and industrial experience with assets such as: electrical control panels, motor testing, level control equipment and instrumentation, inverters, as well as working on/around gearboxes, screw conveyers and centrifuge equipment. This role is vital and will have a direct impact on the environment and communities that we serve.

What does it take to be an electrician at Anglian Water?

• An NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds electrical qualification (or equivalent), 18th Edition, AM2, or equivalent or have completed a full Electrical apprenticeship
• A full UK driving licence is also essential.
• You will have demonstrable experience in completing inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis, being competent undertaking repairs to large pumps, actuated valves, VSD and 3-phase electrical switchgear.
