Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group at the Flixton site in Suffolk is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the night shift. You will perform planned preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and install equipment on the factory floor.

You should hold an NVQ Level 3 in electrical discipline, and FMCG experience is advantageous. The role operates a night shift pattern (4 on 4 off, 6pm-6am) with up to £56,000 salary and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG environment advantageous.
• Willingness to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure machinery and equipment run smoothly.
• Respond to and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Perform installation work on new and existing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance staff to maintain high standards.

About The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician you will be part of our night shift team to carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), handling breakdowns, and installation work on the factory floor. Our Flixton site is one of our renowned Poultry processing & production facilities, providing goods to other 2Sisters sites for use in products supplied to M&S and other large retailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure machinery and equipment run smoothly
• Responding to and resolving breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime
• Performing installation work on new and existing equipment
• Collaborating with a team of engineers and maintenance staff to maintain high operational standards

About You

You are a detail-oriented and driven individual with a background in Electrical Maintenance. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a keen ability to assess risks and solve problems quickly. Your positive attitude and willingness to work in a poultry environment make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Key Skills

• NVQ Level 3 minimum in a relevant Electrical discipline
• Experience working in a FMCG environment is highly advantageous
