Anglian Water Services is seeking an Electrician in the Milton Keynes area. You will perform general repairs, investigate faults and complete scheduled and reactive maintenance to ensure asset reliability.

You’ll work with electrical control panels, pumps, valves, VSDs and switchgear, supported by a collaborative team. The role requires an NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds electrical qualification and a full UK driving licence.

Competenze

• The candidate must have an NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds electrical qualification or equivalent, with 18th Edition and AM2 or completed electrical apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis, including repairs to large pumps, actuated valves, VSD and 3‑phase switchgear.

£45,760 starting salary, plus overtime and standby, with opportunity for pay progression up to £60,000 Basic

Get ready to make a difference and join us as an Electrician at Anglian Water. You’ll be responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults and completing scheduled &reactive maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets. This role is not just about doing a job, it has a real purpose; it’s about protecting our environment and our customers.

With support from a collaborative team, you will develop your commercial and industrial experience with assets such as: electrical control panels, motor testing, level control equipment and instrumentation, inverters, as well as working on/around gearboxes, screw conveyers and centrifuge equipment. This role is vital and will have a direct impact on the environment and communities that we serve.

What does it take to be an electrician at Anglian Water?

• An NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds electrical qualification (or equivalent), 18th Edition, AM2,or equivalent or have completed a full Electrical apprenticeship
• A full UK driving licence is also essential.
• You will have demonstrable experience in completing inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis, being competent undertaking repairs to large pumps, actuated valves, VSD and 3-phase electrical switchgear.
