Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for the Cotswolds area in the Thames Valley North Wastewater Operations region. The role focuses on keeping electrical equipment across wastewater sites safe, efficient and reliable, with both proactive and reactive maintenance to support site resilience.

You will work in Witney (OX28 5JH) with a Monday–Friday pattern, receive PPE, tools, and a van, and may be on a call-out rota with additional pay.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
• BS7671 or 18th Edition qualifications.
• Experience with 3-phase systems and fault diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Proactively and reactively maintain electrical assets across the Cotswolds sites.
• Investigate plant failures and carry out repairs quickly.
• Service and replace assets such as pumps, motors, VSDs and controls.
• Provide technical advice and training to the team.
• Monitor SCADA and respond to alarms.
