Job summary

First Achieve Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Team Leader (Electrical Bias) for a leading client in Edinburgh. You will lead a skilled maintenance team, maximise equipment availability, and uphold health and safety standards to support production targets and excellent service.

The role requires hands-on leadership with 5+ years in heavy engineering, strong hydraulics and HV/MV electrical knowledge, and familiarity with PLCs and CMMS. 3-shift rotation and UK work eligibility apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in heavy engineering or similar.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, HV/MV electrical systems.
• Experience with PLC systems and CMMS desirable.
• Proven leadership and budgeting experience.
• Willingness to work 3-shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule maintenance to meet objectives.
• Act as High Voltage Senior AP (training provided).
• Drive reliability and OEE improvements.
• Manage contractors and ensure H&S compliance.
• Support cost control and procurement.
• Lead CI initiatives and capital projects.
