Job summary

AO Recycling in Telford is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with an electrical bias to lead the on-site engineering team, drive planned maintenance and deliver improvement projects for reliability and cost control.

You will work rotating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts, complete maintenance inspections, plan corrective work, and use CMMS daily to track progress and safety compliance at the site.

Qualifications

• A qualified engineer with electrical bias.
• Experience in a similar process, production or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly organised with ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
• Aware of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work.
• Knowledgeable about proactive maintenance strategies.
• Familiar with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Work Monday-Friday 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm rotational shifts.
• Complete Planned Maintenance inspections and condition reports.
• Plan and deliver corrective and reactive work to minimise downtime.
• Perform dynamic risk assessments and maintain a clean-as-you-go approach.
• Monitor malfunctioning equipment and keep site management informed.
• Contribute to engineering projects, installations or refurbishments.
• Log daily progress in the CMMS.
• Leverage engineering expertise in problem-solving workshops.
• Lead daily operational review meetings with PM compliance updates.
