AO Recycling in the UK is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the site Engineering team at the fridge plant in Telford. You will oversee plant maintenance, execute planned schedules and drive improvements to boost reliability and lower costs.

You should be a qualified engineer with mechanical or electrical bias, with manufacturing experience. Strong communication, organisation, and CMMS knowledge are essential, and a focus on safety is required. The role follows a 4-on 4-off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with mechanical or electrical bias.
• Experience in a similar process, production or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly organised with planning and prioritisation skills.
• Familiar with CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations.

Responsabilités

• Work 4 on 4 off rotational days and nights.
• Complete planned maintenance inspections and condition reports.
• Plan and deliver corrective and reactive work to minimise downtime.
• Log daily progress in CMMS and report on defects.
• Contribute to engineering projects, installations or refurbishments.
• Attend operational review meetings and provide updates on maintenance compliance and improvements.
