Job summary

BWSR LIMITED is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead and develop electrical maintenance within the plant. You will supervise Electrical Maintenance Technicians, ensuring competency, training and succession planning are in place.

Responsibilities include driving HSE compliance, safety culture, root-cause analysis, CMMS governance and collaboration with production and engineering to improve reliability of critical equipment.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Time-served electrical apprenticeship completed.
• Knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, drives and industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR requirements and safe systems of work.
• Experience of managing CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure activities comply with HSE legislation, policies and procedures.
• Promote safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure statutory electrical inspection, testing and maintenance compliance.
• Ensure compliance with BS7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, DSEAR and ATEX.
• Lead root-cause investigations into electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Govern CMMS usage including work orders, asset records and reporting.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve equipment reliability.
• Support maintenance budgeting including contractor costs and spares expenditure.

Job description

Our client is currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor who will lead electrical maintenance within their plant. You will lead, supervise and develop Electrical Maintenance Technicians, ensuring appropriate competency, training and succession planning is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with H&SE legislation, company policies and procedures.
• Promote a positive safety culture and drive engagement in continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory electrical inspection, testing and maintenance requirements.
