Job summary

HEYSHAM PORT LTD in Liverpool is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead a multi-skilled maintenance team, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the Mersey unit.

You will oversee maintenance, statutory compliance, installation and commissioning of new equipment, working with engineers and operations while adhering to PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, LOLER and DSEAR obligations. A full UK driving licence is essential, with occasional work at heights and in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-functional teams of engineers.
• Knowledge of DSEAR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis.
• HNC in Electrical Engineering.
• Understanding of Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Oversee a multi-skilled maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the business unit.
• Deliver maintenance, statutory compliance, installation and commissioning of new equipment; collaborating with key contractors and suppliers.
• Work closely with other engineering and operational functions while complying with PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, LOLER and DSEAR.
• Promote safety culture and drive continuous improvement across maintenance activities.
