Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd. is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a Preston site, offering a £52,000 salary and a double-days shift. You will optimise uptime, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and support new equipment installations with the engineering team.

The role requires proven electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing, fault-finding ability, PPM, and involvement in TPM and CI initiatives. Training and progression are provided along with a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and complete engineering documentation.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on production machinery.
• Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Involvement in Continuous Improvement and TPM.

Overview

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Preston. Salary £52,000. Shift: Double Days (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm).

Responsibilities

• Maximise production uptime through planned and reactive maintenance, continuous improvement projects and new equipment installations.
• Work closely with an experienced engineering team in a growing manufacturing environment.
• Contribute to the reliability and availability of production equipment through proactive maintenance and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Must have previous experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience on production machinery.
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Experience maintaining production and packaging machinery.
• Ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement and TPM involvement.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and complete engineering documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with production and engineering teams.
