Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business in Preston. The role focuses on maximising production uptime across a range of modern production equipment, through planned and reactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will read electrical drawings, carry out root-cause analysis and installations, and work closely with a skilled engineering team to deliver tangible improvements

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as Electrical Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing/production.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance on production machinery.
• Experience with planned preventive maintenance and TPM involvement.

Responsibilities

• Maximise production uptime through planned and reactive maintenance.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and support new equipment installations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver reliable plant performance.

Essential Requirements

• Must have previous experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer,
• Must hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (Must have experience working within a manufacturing/ production environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience on production machinery.
• Electrical fault finding and reactive breakdown maintenance.
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Experience maintaining production and packaging machinery.
• Ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement and TPM involvement.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and complete engineering documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with production and engineering teams.
