Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Preston to join a growing manufacturing company investing in people and machinery.

You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, continuous improvement, and new equipment installations, working with an experienced engineering team to maximise production uptime.

Qualifications

• Must have previously worked as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
• Must hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance on production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance to maximise uptime.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and install new equipment.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues.

Essential Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical fault finding and reactive breakdown maintenance.


• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).


• Experience maintaining production and packaging machinery.


• Ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.


• Continuous Improvement and TPM involvement.


• Ability to read electrical drawings and complete engineering documentation.


• Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with production and engineering teams.
