Job summary

CanDo Laundry Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to ensure safe, reliable operation of our laundry production equipment. You will carry out planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvements to reduce downtime and protect staff safety.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, fault finding, and strong collaboration with the small maintenance team to keep washers, dryers, ironers, and conveyors running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on maintenance experience on production equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to follow planned maintenance schedules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliant maintenance activity.
• Investigate recurrent faults and support improvements to equipment reliability.
