Job summary

Pareto FM in Chertsey is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious, on-site engineering team within a commercial FM environment. You will manage planned and reactive electrical maintenance across power, lighting, and emergency systems, while adhering to BS 7671 and UK regulations.

Ideally you are experienced in facilities management, with an electrical bias and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills in electrical systems.
• Good knowledge of electrical regulations and safe systems of work.
• Experience working in commercial buildings or facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Perform electrical fault finding, diagnosis and repairs.
• Maintain power distribution, lighting, emergency systems and plant.
• Complete electrical replacements, remedial works and minor upgrades.
• Carry out inspections and testing and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure works comply with BS 7671 and UK regulations.
• Respond to faults to minimise disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate job, maintenance and compliance records.
• Liaise with colleagues, contractors and FM team.
• Provide technical electrical support as required.
• Support broader building-services maintenance within competency.
