Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / PLC Training) in Dalkeith to join a large industrial site. You will perform reactive and preventive maintenance on 3-phase machinery, motors and drives, with on-the-job PLC training provided.

The role runs double days (6am-2pm / 2pm-11pm) with overtime potential and a focus on training. The salary is £40,000–£45,000 plus overtime, with additional development opportunities within a stable group.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Training will be provided to operate PLCs.
• Experience with 3-phase motors and drives is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Fault find on PLCs and 3-phase equipment.
• Support site improvements and ensure equipment reliability.
