Dalkeith-based maintenance role with a large, prestigious materials processing company. Earn £40,000-£45,000 plus overtime (OTE ~£57k) with double days and full training on PLCs.

You will perform reactive and planned maintenance on 3‑phase motors, drives and sensors, with PLC fault finding and wiring checks in a busy industrial setting.

Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a large and prestigious company who will invest heavily into your development, with a wide array of day-to-day tasks working on bespoke industrial machinery, with full training on PLCs?

In this double-days based role you will be performing a split of planned and reactive maintenance in a busy industrial environment, working on 3-phase machinery, lasers, drives, motors, alongside general maintenance of facilities.

Founded nearly 40 years ago, this materials processing company are looking to continuously improve their site, grow their team and stay ahead in their field. Supplying nationwide, they are part of a larger group offering plenty of stability and job security.

This role would suit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer from an industrial, manufacturing, forces, plant or similar background looking to work double-days in a technically challenging and rewarding role for a company you will be proud to work for.

The Role:

• Performing primarily reactive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
• Working on 3-phase motors, drives, sensors, and PLC fault finding
• Further training given on PLCs
• Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm / 2pm-11pm, Fridays 6am-2pm / 2pm-6pm

The Person:

• Maintenance Engineer or Industrial Electrician
• Industrial, Manufacturing, Forces, Plant or similar background
