Job summary

The Whittan Group in Milton Keynes is seeking an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to strengthen our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will ensure machine uptime, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical issues to support continuous improvement on site.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineering experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience using planned preventative maintenance (PPM) systems.
• Ability to analyse problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Experience using CMMS software.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across production equipment.
• Support machine uptime and OEE targets.
• Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and improvement works.
• Record maintenance activities and machine history using the CMMS system.
• Manage and monitor spare parts usage, helping to maintain stock levels.
• Work with production, engineering, and external contractors to resolve issues.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to increase asset reliability and reduce downtime.
