Qualifications

• Must have completed a recognised Electrical Engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience as Electrical Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
• Strong PLC fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with PPMs and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Independent worker with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Perform PLC fault finding and diagnostics to identify faults.
• Read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Carry out electrical testing, inspections and diagnostic checks.
• Support machinery installations and engineering improvement projects.
• Use CMMS to record maintenance activities and track work.
