Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a leading manufacturer in Andover. The role involves electrical, control and basic mechanical maintenance, including upgrades, with data recording and collaboration with operations to drive improvements.

The ideal candidate has an apprentice background, NVQ3 in electrical engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, and strong PLC knowledge. A 3-shift pattern is required and the company offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained electrical maintenance engineer with NVQ3 or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of PLC control systems and field devices.
• Experience with CMMS and MS Office.
• Willingness to work a 3-shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, controls and basic mechanical maintenance incl. planned and reactive tasks.
• Record refurbishment and overhauls data.
• Develop training materials for operations teams.
• Collaborate with other teams to solve problems.
• Continuously improve maintenance strategies.
• Analyse PLC faults and diagnose faults using software.
